Battery and adapter for IBM, IBM Notebook Components

During the long-term history the American company IBM was famous for its hard disk drives. After having passing some time, the manufacturer has decided to replace a field of activity. Today IBM one of the lead firms who makes huge quantity of storage batteries, both for laptops, and mobile phones. IBM engineers were the first who has considered potential Ni-Cd accumulators, and then and Ni-Mh accumulators. Strengths of Ni-Cd accumulators are low cost, high stability to differences of temperatures, and also a plenty of cycles of "charge-category". However after a while Ni-Mh accumulators have superseded the predecessors. A principal cause of popularity of this kind of accumulators is the greater specific capacity. It means, that at the same overall dimensions of the storage laptop battery value of its capacity is more on thirty percents, than at Ni-Cd batteries. This property also allows to compete Ni-Mh accumulators with Li-ion batteries. Today more than half of all models of company IBM laptops are supplied with Ni-Mh accumulators of new generation which beat old models Li-ion laptop batteries on many parameters. |
